Name: Sean Knowlton-Moyers

Age: 17

School: Cabrillo High School

What issue area are you most passionate about? Which do you know the most about?  (Immigration, environment, woman’s rights, mental health, LGBTQ rights, etc.):

I am most passionate about working towards the environment because this is an issue that people have been tackling for quite a while now. I believe we should have clean beaches to swim in, I believe that marine animals should live in unpolluted waters, I believe that we should resort to cleaner energy such as solar radiation instead of limiting our selves to unsafe practices, and I believe that we should live in cites that are kept clean. I want this mainly for the safety of all living things and living beings of the future.

What activities do like to do regularly as a pastime?

I really enjoy playing soccer, drawing, and even exposing myself to learning about the weather and climate change. I mainly spend a lot of time working on art pieces; approximately 1 hour each day - 24 hours a week.

What clubs/organizations/sports/job are you involved with outside of youth making change?

I play soccer for Cabrillo High School, and I was a part of the National Honers Society.

Is there anything else that you would like people to know about yourself?

I would like to say that I never quit, If I believe I can do something, I am passionate about it. I love to learn something new every day especially when it involves sciences, soccer, and art; or even general knowledge. While this being said, when I grow up I would like to become a meteorologist and further myself in studying the weather. I am very polite and I work well with others.
