What issue area are you most passionate about? Which do you know the most about? (Immigration, environment, woman’s rights, mental health, LGBTQ rights, etc.):
As a foreign student living in the U.S, I experience issues related to Immigration quite often. Therefore I'm passionate about understanding the problems and thinking about solutions to address them. Also, living in a country that's not your own comes with a problem of lack of identity, which can sometimes "hit hard" and cause depression and existential crises.
What activities do like to do regularly as a pastime?
I have a few hobbies that take part in my free time. I like to read, especially books related to History or Sociology. I like to write too, mostly when I'm inspired or feeling down. And while in Brazil, I take capoeira classes every other day.
What clubs/organizations/sports/job are you involved with outside of youth making change?
Outside of Youth Making Change, I'm also part of the robotics and technology teams at my school, and like I mentioned before I'm also part of a capoeira group called Abadá.
