What issue area are you most passionate about? Which do you know the most about?  (Immigration, environment, woman’s rights, mental health, LGBTQ rights, etc.):

I'm very passionate about Women's rights. Women have been discredited for many years. Not being able to vote, not being able to get paid equally. Women should be able to do all sorts of other stuff without being judged by their gender. I should be able to do the same thing that a man can do, without anyone second guessing my abilities. As someone who wants to go into the medical field I understand that women are often mistaken as nurses and not doctors, and that needs to stop! Women should be treated equally and should be held to the same stander as a man. Women should always be treated with kindness and respect. The fight for more equal rights for women, also differ depending on the ethnicity. People of color are treated differently depending on their skin color. With this added struggle for women of color the fight for better treatment is a much harder fight. This can be seen in our House of Representatives. Out of 435 representatives only 101 are women. Only 43 of the 435 House of Representatives are Hispanic. Representation matters, and I believe that in order for us to get more women and women of color to help represent us is to give them the platform to speak about the issues minorities face. Like AOC, she is the youngest person ever to be elected for the House of Representatives, and she is Hispanic. She is inspiring many young girls like myself, to follow my dreams.

What activities do like to do regularly as a pastime?

I like to watch Netflix, and to hang out with my family. I like to also just to listen to my music. And very often I'm baking different kinds of desserts! It's very often that I'm doing these activities! Whenever I'm watching Netflix with my family! Or baking by myself!

What clubs/organizations/sports/job are you involved with outside of youth making change?

Outside of Youth Making Change, I'm apart of the Avid program and also the Upward Bound though Cal Poly!
