What issue area are you most passionate about? Which do you know the most about?  (Immigration, environment, woman’s rights, mental health, LGBTQ rights, etc.):

I am most passionate about women's rights, prison reform, LGBTQ+ rights, black lives matter

What activities do like to do regularly as a pastime?

Hobbies that I enjoy are watching films, going to art museums, photography, volleyball, and listening to interesting podcasts. I engage in these activities at different frequencies, but I try to listen to at least one episode of a podcast a day. I play volleyball during school along with engaging in photography. I watch films and go to art museums when I have extra time/ in a new place.

What clubs/organizations/sports/job are you involved with outside of youth making change?

A club that I am a part of is mock trial; I was a defense lawyer in this past season. I also play both beach and indoor volleyball which has been my sport through all of middle school and high school. I participate in the MAD (multimedia arts and design) academy at SBHS, where in which I can experiment with Adobe, film, photography, and social media. I have a blog called "Madeline and friends". I had a job at the Field and Fort retail section as a seasonal employee over the Christmas holiday. I volunteer at hearts therapeutic horse ranch where I assisted young and older riders who have a disability, and I also tended to the stables. I volunteer at teen court, where I was able to sit in as a jury member on real court proceedings and have a say in the ruling.
