What issue area are you most passionate about? Which do you know the most about? (Immigration, environment, woman’s rights, mental health, LGBTQ rights, etc.):
During this time the issues that I am especially passionate about is the Black Lives Matter movement since this is not only a pressing matter in our community, but all around the nation. Also, some others I would say is medical attention and rights for immigrants/undocumented people, especially those who work in the fields during these difficult times of the pandemic. One last other issue I am concerned about is the homeless and their access to masks and other hygienic products. We have many homeless people roaming around the community. They also deserve hygienic products and medical attention.
What activities do like to do regularly as a pastime?
Some activities/hobbies that I do is running, working out, and playing tennis to stay active. I also enjoy to read during my free time and draw. I also love to go hiking it’s one of my favorite activities. And I usually will always do these activities often, especially during the time in this pandemic.
What clubs/organizations/sports/job are you involved with outside of youth making change?
Some clubs I am in is Key Club, Spanish Honors Society, Ap Promoters, Link Crew, and CSF (California Scholarship Federation). I am currently also in the FFA program at my school and I’m also in REACH. And lastly a sport that play in school is tennis.
Is there anything else that you would like people to know about yourself?
Some things that I would like for people to know about me is that I am very understanding and I try to understand everybody’s perspective and point views. I’m also a very creative, passionate, and charismatic person who isn’t afraid to be honest and share her opinion.
