Jasmin Olivera

Name: Jasmin Olivera

Age: 15

School: Pioneer Valley High School

What issue area are you most passionate about? Which do you know the most about?  (Immigration, environment, woman’s rights, mental health, LGBTQ rights, etc.):

I believe racism should not exist. Our skin tone does not define who we are. It doesn’t matter what our ethnicity or background is we should all be treated the same.

What activities do like to do regularly as a pastime?

I love staying home and reading a good book or going out and having fun with friends.

What clubs/organizations/sports/job are you involved with outside of youth making change?

I am involved in avid, FFA, Astra (a community service club) at school. I am a part of tennis in the fall and during the spring I am on the Swim Team. I also volunteer at my local church twice a week.
