“Closing the Achievement Gap”

“Future Leaders of America Leadership Conference was the first time I was exposed to college students from different universities and for the first time I saw a sense of hope that one day I could be a college student.” – Chantiri Ramirez, SMHS c/o 2007, UCLA PhD Candidate
2015-03-20-achievementgap-img“In California today, one out of every five latino high school students is dropping out of school. Future Leaders of America (FLA) is working hard to reduce this number and close this achievement gap. Since its inception in 1982, FLA has worked toward providing a pathway to and through college and out of poverty for lower-income students.”
