General support for this innovative program for youth – focused on social consciousness, character, imagination, and emotional intelligence

Nonprofit Support Center of Santa Barbara County / Future Search Conference – $3,000
Seed funding for this Santa Maria Valley conference addressing youth violence

Santa Barbara County Action Network / General Operations – $5,000
Support for SB CAN’s on-going work in support of fair and affordable housing, open space preservation and effective public transportation

Sarah House / General Support – $2,500
Funding for Sarah House’s nationally recognized “social model” of end-of-life care and HIV/AIDS support for low-income individuals

Vineyard Valley Theatre Company / General Support – $5,000
Funding for this innovative theatre group to bring Latino arts & culture to the region and to build bridges among Anglo & Latino community members in the Santa Ynez Valley, paving the way for honest discussions of race, culture, and history

Committee for A Safer Santa Barbara County / Yes On Measure S Anti-Recidivism Messaging – $3,000
Support for the campaign effort highlighting the $5 million allocation in Measure S to mental health services, drug & alcohol counseling, education and other critical services in the jail

ySTRIVE / Sponsorship of “An American Tract” Performance at the Marjorie Luke – $3,000
Support for this special theatre presentation tackling issues of race and class in modern American communities

Seigel-Boettner Productions / “With My Own Two Wheels” Film – $6,000
Production support for this film tying the local work of BiciCentro to bicycling in Rwanda, Zambia, Ghana, India, and Guatemala as a means of access to education, healthcare, and economic opportunity

Pacific Pride Foundation / Just Communities Central Coast Response to Goleta Valley Junior High Program Challenge – $3,000
Emergency support for Just Communities staff to respond to attacks on GVJH’s anti-discrimination and bullying programming
